H. R. Dent's Research indicates that David Jarrett died 10/08/1811,however the data I received from Tom Jarrett indicates the date of death as 1808. I've used the more precise date for the time being. David Jarrett Sr. was married once but currently the first wife's name is unknown. David Jarrett Sr. died on his farm in Kanawha County, West Virginia and is buried there. Grave cannot be found. Lived on Wolf Creek, Mouror? County 1770-1791. David came from Monroe County in 1791 to a land grant of 623 acres along the Elk River in Kanawha County. Middle name of Jacob from H. R. Dent's research.
